FAQ

Below are a few frequently asked questions that may help you when choosing a loan that's right for you.

FAQs around Using a Car Finance Broker

  • No. A request for a quote on a vehicle loan – personal or business – is not considered an obligation to proceed with a loan deal. There are several stages of the loan application process and it is not until you agree to proceed to finalisation and sign the contract that you are committed.

In working with Jade as your broker, we can investigate different loan options for you by sourcing various quotes, if required, for you to consider. At each stage of the loan application process, your Jade consultant will explain the steps and the details to ensure you fully understand each aspect of the process.

  • Both businesses and individuals can use our finance broker services. Jade does not have restrictions on who can access our motor vehicle loan services and often it is those that consider they may not be eligible for broker services that can benefit the most.

Those with credit issues, start-up businesses, individuals with bad credit and businesses with insufficient documentation to meet the requirements of the major banks can realise the benefits of our access to a range of non-bank lenders that are more flexible.

Banks in particular can have stricter guidelines and requirements around loans. If applicants do not meet those requirements, they may not be made an offer. By using Jade we can access lenders that will meet the requirements of your application.

  • As a broker, Jade is accredited with over 40 individual lenders. Our lending panel includes the major Australian banks, well known finance companies and non-bank lenders.

With this vast source of lender options, we have more choices to get better motor loans for our customers. Our consultants have expert negotiating skills and as a company, we have significant bargaining power courtesy of the large amount of business we write in the motor vehicle lending sector.

  • A finance broker is an individual or company that is licensed as a credit provider through ASIC and as such has the authority to source finance and loans on behalf of customers. A broker usually operates as their own business, such as in the case of Jade. A broker finance deals by canvassing their lending panel to source the best loan offers suited to their customers.

Finance brokers are accredited with banks and non-bank lenders which gives them the authority to source loans from those lenders for their customers. Jade is accredited by many lenders. Some non-bank lenders only operate through brokers and not directly with the public.

As your finance broker, Jade will source you a loan, process your application, structure your finances and handle the paperwork to save you time and money.
