Jade Car Loans is a leading independent broker in the car lending market and is giving back to the local community with the Jade Finance $1500(AUS) academic scholarship. A scholarship which will support an undergraduate or post-graduate student with their studies in finance, commerce or business. The Jade Finance scholarship will reward the applicant who the expert judging panel acknowledge as the most insightful written response to the selection criteria theme: Trends, changes and impacts on the finance lending sector.


  • To be eligible for the Jade Finance scholarship, students must be currently enrolled in a commerce or finance studies degree at an accredited university and have completed at least 1 year of study.

  • Applicants can be studying on a part-time or full-time basis at either undergraduate or post-graduate level.

  • The award entails a $1500(AUS) contribution to the winner’s academic expenses.

  • Applications must be received, via email, by midnight Australian Eastern time on 10 January 2022.

  • All applications that meet the criteria will be judged by the Jade Finance panel of experts in financial lending.

  • Applications must include a written response of 800 words or less on the theme: Trends, changes and impacts on the finance lending sector.

  • The winner will be determined by 20 January 2022 and the winner notified by email/phone.

  • No correspondence will be entered into.

  • The $1500(AUS) winner’s award will be deposited into the bank account of the winner.


In selected the winner, the Jade Car Loans judging panel will be considering the most interesting response to the theme Trends, changes and impacts on the finance lending sector.

The motor vehicle industry is utilising leading-edge technology to advance car design and production in fields of performance and especially in the area of energy-efficient and low emission engines But has the lending sector kept pace with this level of development in pricing its products to acknowledge and foster take-up of such vehicles? Does the lending sector have a role play in this space?

The winning application will exhibit insights and views, ideas and approaches to how lenders can be proactive in this space and across the general finance lending sector.



  • Students enrolled in finance and economics degrees at accredited universities, completed at least 1 years of study at either undergraduate or post-graduate level on a part-time or full-time basis.

  • Must submit 800 words or less written submission on the theme as outlined above.

  • Advise how $1500(AUS) will assist your academic studies.

  • Winner will be advised directly via phone/email by 20 January 2022



  • Jade Finance scholarship is a private program and not associated with or approved by any tertiary institution.

  • Applications are judged entirely on the quality of the submission and judged at the discretion of the judging panel

  • No correspondence will be addressed at any stage.

  • Announcements around the winner will be discussed with the winner.

  • Applications are private and confidential
