Kia Models: Overview
Promoted as the ‘all new Stonic’ the small Kia SUV was promoted with a young vibe but has the features to appeal to a wider buyer market. The other take-out from the Kia ad campaign was the TVC with Carnival, Sportage and Sorrento that had a real advanced driver training session feel with moves you’d expect the team at a certain well-watched TV car show to undertake.
The Sportage is pitched at young families but has the features that would make it suited to the small business owner. A larger SUV with the essential cargo area that seems to be a must-have for many business operators as well as families. The Sportage is available in a number of model variants all with choice of petrol or diesel.
The Sorento is the largest SUV in the Kia range and the most luxurious. It even includes a 12 speaker BOSE sound system! A 7 seater with 187 litres of cargo space or ditch the third row of seating to use the massive 616 litres of cargo area. Power choices are the 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine or the 2.2 litre diesel.
While not appearing to claim AWD capabilities, the Sorento does have a multi-terrain driving mode. A mode that that the company claims provides better stability and traction when driving on surfaces such as snow, mud and sand. With four model variants, there is plenty of choice for Sorento buyers to select a vehicle which specifically meets their requirements.
